Getting Funding for blackops.com

BlackOps.com, known also as Black Ops Entertainment LLC, was founded by a group of MIT grads who wanted to make games. John Botti, founder and CEO, wanted to create a place where creative artists, animators and programmers all came together to create big budget video game titles- and share in the royalties. John was a lead video game designer and programmer at Virgin Games, at the birth of the 3D video game industry. He created a great game there, then pitched his MIT buddies Alan and Jose as a team to create a new PlayStation arcade game. While in his mid twenties, John secured financing for the group for his first three products for the amount of $6.8M over three titles. The renegade Los Angeles video game design studio was born- from a group of guys who met at MIT - John Botti, Jose Villeta and Alan Lasky. BlackOps.com became a studio whose alumni have gone off to become some of the biggest blockbuster franchise creators in video game and movie history: Jose Villeta - VP - Harry Potter $2B+ Sales, John Botti CEO $1.5B Video Game Sales, Chad Stahelski (Black Ops' Stunt Coordinator): Directed John Wick I, II, III, IV, Ballerina, Highlander. Shannon Studstill - Art Director to Producer of Sony's God of War.
