These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of blackops.com (the "Site"), operated by blackops.com LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to break its security, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to send spam.
Our content
The text, images, videos, logos and other material on the Site are owned by blackops.com LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, republish or distribute them without our written permission, except as the law allows.
Stories you submit
- You keep ownership of your story. By submitting it, you give blackops.com LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, display, edit for length or clarity, and share it on the Site and in related promotion.
- You confirm that the story is your own, that it is truthful to the best of your knowledge, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- You agree not to submit content that is defamatory (slander or libel), racist, hateful, harassing, obscene, illegal, or that reveals someone's private information.
- We may review, edit, refuse or remove any story at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Updates by email
If you sign up for updates, we may email you about our games, books and projects. You can ask to stop at any time by contacting support@blackops.com.
Purchases and other websites
Links to buy books or products take you to third-party stores such as Amazon. Purchases are between you and that store, under its terms. Prices and availability shown on the Site may change, and the store's price is the one that applies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other websites.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, email support@blackops.com with a description of the work, where it appears on the Site, and your contact details, and we will review it promptly.
No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. See also our Legal Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, blackops.com LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
